Dean is a highly accomplished Operations and Finance Leader. He has extensive experience as an operator for companies in transition, or that have a need for structured strategy and growth. Dean has extensive investment banking and M&A background which helps when looking at strategic growth or sale opportunities
Prior to Capital Strategy Advisors, Dean was an Executive Team Member of Skyview Capital LLC. in Los Angeles where he served as their Managing Director – Global Operations and Capital Markets. Dean oversaw the operations team in acquisition due diligence, post close operational transitions, and monitoring of the portfolio companies. He also was responsible for acquisition finance and worked with the Portfolio CEO’s and CFO’s to assist in Strategy and Growth plans and analyzing and the company’s cash needs in order to arrange structured financing for them.
Prior to Skyview, Dean was the COO/CFO of a mid-size family office in Salt Lake City, UT where he oversaw the growth of the firm from 3 owned companies to 8 in 3.5 years.
Dean has also served as VP of Corporate Finance for Platinum Equity in Los Angeles and Europe. He was also VP Treasurer for David Murdock's, Castle & Cooke.
